EFFECT: A stack of 4 tenpence (10p) coins is shown in the palm of your hand. The stack is then placed on the back of your hand and covered by a small brass box. The stack is then made to penetrate your hand, disappear and change into four 20p coins.

The coins are then placed in the empty box and you now attempt to make them penetrate through the lid of the box and through a table. You fail to do this but when the box is opened it is seen that the coins have disappeared and in their place is a stack of 10p coins. These are then placed into the box and made to change into a stack of 20p coins.

Finally, the coins are placed into the box, that is then placed on the back of the magician's hand. The coins are made to penetrate both the box, and the hand, with the box being shown empty after the effect.
