Carmo Bead Mystery - Demon

A lovely Davenport exclusive.

This is a quite fantastic effect and one which you will treasure for the rest of your magical life. The older generation will know the quite ingenious gimmick which puts this effect and finish in the miracle class.

A necklace in the form of a string of beads (which can be clipped round your assistant's neck) are unclipped and held up full length. An empty wine glass - which can be inspected - is picked up and a normal pair of scissors taken and the bottom bead apparently snipped off. This allows all the beads on the string to fall freely into the wine glass.

You now take the beadless string and place this into your mouth and then take the glass with the loose beads and place them in your mouth with a quite clear drinking action. The glass can then be shown empty!

You now proceed to gently pull from your mouth the beads but ... they are now restrung!

The beauty of this exclusive effect is that you DO NOT HAVE NOR USE A DUPLICATE SET OF BEADS. So you have none of the age old problems of trying to conceal the second set of beads. It takes only a couple of minutes to set and is virtually self-working.

Originally manufactured by Davenports in the 1940s, this version was produced from the 1980s. The effect comes complete with necklace and instructions.
