EFFECT: Performer asks any three spectators to think of any three figure numbers. A note pad is handed to the first spectator who is asked to write down the number he thought of...meanwhile the performer writes a prediction, seals it in an envelope and hands it to a member of the audience for safe keeping, alternatively he places the sealed envelope on a chair for the duration of the proceedings,in full view of the audience. The first spectator is asked to hand the pad to another who writes his number beneath the first, he in turn hands the pad to the third spectator who writes his number below the first two. The third spectator then closes the pad and throws the pad to any member of the audience who totals up the numbers the three spectators independently thought of. You then hand out your sealed envelope...a spectator reads out your prediction WHICH WILL BE THE SAME AS THE TOTALLED NUMBERS ON THE PAD!
